Meet Rev. Ramos — A Passionate Leader Committed to Grace, Justice, and Community
Rev. Ramos brings a powerful blend of experience, compassion, and Spirit-filled leadership to Azalea Park United Methodist Church. Having served in ministry throughout his entire adult life, he is deeply committed to fostering grace, love, and genuine connection everywhere he serves.
With a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, Rev. Ramos combines theological depth with a heart for healing and practical community care. Fully fluent in both English and Spanish, he is uniquely equipped to minister to our beautifully diverse congregation.
Rev. Ramos is especially passionate about reaching underserved communities and expanding our ministry within the local Hispanic and Latino community. His vision is rooted in a belief that the Church should be a living expression of God’s love—showing compassion, advocating for justice, and meeting people where they are.
In addition to his pastoral work, Rev. Ramos also teaches at UCF where he empowers and inspires the next generation of leaders.
Here at Azalea Park UMC, Rev. Ramos feels his calling is being reaffirmed, and he is excited to continue his journey of service, outreach, and Spirit-led ministry with us.

We’re proud to have Wesley Norris leading our music ministry at Azalea Park United Methodist Church! A lifelong member of APUMC, Wesley was practically born into our church family, and his love for this community shines through everything he does.
Wesley brings incredible passion, talent, and creativity to our worship services. He loves music, drawing, art, and the performing arts—and his gifts help make our worship vibrant, joyful, and meaningful each week.
A proud UCF Knight, Wesley holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Florida, bringing both heart and expertise to his leadership.
