Focus Verse:“The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the LORD. David the king also rejoiced greatly.” (1 Chronicles 29:9).
Devotion: When collecting the supplies for the temple, David led the charge. he exclaimed that he gave his personal treasure above and beyond what he’s already given. After David, all the leaders in Israel give of their wealth as well. The leader, leading by example, inspires the other leaders, and so on it goes all the way down. What kind of believer are you? Will you lead your faith by example so others are inspired and follow after your lead?
Pray: LORD let my life be lived for You, and let my life be a living example to inspire others. Amen.
